FAQ's
How large can my wall art be?
When we say large, we mean large! Basically around 1.6 metres x whatever length can be printed as a one piece graphic. If your smallest dimension is longer than 1.6 metres, then just talk to us, I’m sure we can find a solution!
What material do you use?
We only use the best quality materials. Now we can give you as much technical blurb as you want. Although if you just want the long and short of it, it’s a premium quality matt vinyl. So it’s smooth, but not glossy. The self adhesive is made up of multiple dots. This offers great adhesion, but aids it's removability / repositional qualities. It also allows air flow through the dots when applying to the wall - which helps no end with eliminating air bubbles. We’ve tried and tested all the best materials (and continually do so), and all ends up we have found this to be the best! Simply the best - better than all the rest!
Will my wall art damage my wall?
It’s about as removeable and repositionable as any self adhesive can be. The make up of the adhesive and the dot adhesive technology means it is totally removable, and will not leave any adhesive residue or cause damage to any properly prepared and decorated walls. We guess you can never say never, but all we’re saying is we’ve never known it.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept PDF, EPS, TIFF, JPEG, or files supplied in Indesign or Quark Express. It’s all about the resolution with large format printing. The higher the resolution, the more likely quality can be maintained at the larger sizes. InDesign / Quark – to be ‘collect for output’ or ‘packaged’ with all fonts, logos and pictures included and supplied with 3mm bleed (where relevant).
What about the quality of my photograph?
Whilst we would love a high res image taken on an SLR camera, we know that in reality, more times than not images will have been taken on smart phones, and with the ever increasing quality of smart phone cameras, the quality is getting better and better. So just take and save out in the highest quality possible. Wall art will generally be viewed from a few feet back, so an image that might not look quite as sharp from a few inches, will often look fine from a few feet. However, if we think there are significant issues with quality / resolution, we will always flag these up to you.
